Some helpful tips to help you get started with your loft conversion:
- Planning permission often isn’t required if the design falls within the rules of Permitted Development.
- All work must comply with current Building Regulations and will be inspected throughout the project. On completion the project will be approved, and a final certificate issued.
- There are many types of different loft conversions, and we will help you choose the right one for your home:
- Hip to Gable Flat Roof Dormer - A brick gable to the side of the house, extends the width of the property. The flat roof dormer creates 50% more floor space to the rear of your property.
- Flat Roof Dormer – The back roof of the property is removed and replaced with a flat roof dormer. The dormer creates additional space for a large bedroom and ensuite.
- Pitch Roof Dormer – This can be placed on the side or rear of your property depending on the shape of your roof. This increases head height in areas of your conversion.
