• We used Truss Developments Ltd for our loft conversion because several boxes were ticked.
  Not only did they offer a competitive price, but we also felt comfortable with Richard and were really satisfied with the reassurance offered around how the project would run, the timing and impact on our family, and the integrity of their team. These were really important to us given we have two young children.
  We also really valued their approach which allowed us to design the space in stages and we felt we benefitted from their experience in this regard. Irrespective of how simple my questions may have seemed, we got considered responses that helped us with decision making and helped alleviate concerns. For example, we weren't sure there would be enough room for a staircase without encroaching on either a window or door frame, but a solution was found that did neither and designed on-site with minimal fuss.
  The teams that were on-site were always polite and respectful of our space. We always found them approachable, and we appreciated their efforts to minimise the impact on everyday living and their conscientiousness with regards to tidying up and our children.
  The iterative approach to design allowed us to develop our thinking and resulted in a space that met with our expectations. Importantly to us we needed the external appearance to be just as important as the internal space, and we valued their expertise in helping shape our thoughts to produce a conversion that looks great from the outside. The internal space and quality of finish is great and that's a testament to the quality of the people who worked on the project.

• Design – What was great about the loft conversion was being able to tap in design knowledge and experience – Richard’s input gave us a much better space than just our own thoughts of where to put walls and stairs – producing a far better outcome.
  Contractors – When your neighbours compliment the friendliness and consideration shown to them by the staff working on the project – you know you have made the right choice.
  Quality - The quality of the workmanship was second to none, all the trades involved were professional, timely and had a real sense of customer service.
  Communication – I needn’t have worried about completion timescales and the various jobs requiring completion – I was kept informed of what was happening and when and, in the end, it was completed far quicker than expected.

• Richard and his team were great right from the initial quote through to the completion of our loft conversion. Richard was great at explaining all our options and the possibilities of how we could best make use of the space we were looking to create. He was also completely flexible with any suggestions or requests that we put to him no matter what the scale! Everyone that worked on the project was diligent, courteous and, above all else, clearly experienced in being involved in such a build. The whole project came in on budget and within expected timescales. • We lived in a small, 2 up 2 down, mid terrace and when we started to look for companies to convert our loft we were met with mixed reactions until Richard. His enthusiasm was infectious. Never having had building work done I was wary – he was a salesman after all. But I went with my instinct and his team have transformed our house in to a super 3 bedroomed home that we are proud of.
  We really felt like he was designing and building it for us. The ceiling height is amazing, the velux window means light streams in from the front as well as from the huge bedroom window at the back, and the ensuite is a bonus we could only have dreamed of.
  Richard communicated brilliantly throughout and helped with decisions above and beyond the conversion specification, which included some extra work.
  He has always been available, and his team have been prompt, friendly and professional for each stage.
